Hi folks.Itried searching this subject to no avail.I just installed an extra harddrive that is recognized when I boot up but not recognized in my computer.I didn't format it.I want it to be part of my current C drive(just want to add gigs to my current drive,no partitions). Can this be done and how?Thanx in advance for your help.
PS.I run XP
In order to use a hard drive you have to set up a partition and format that partition. Think of it like this the partition is like a book and the format is like the pages of the book.
It does need to be partitioned and formatted. There is no way to do what you want as it is physical two different drives.
