additional icons

I like to create my own shortcuts to various items on the desktop. For instance, I have a shortcut into which I place my most used programs = I double click the Icon and then doubleclick the program I am seeking to use.

Is there a place I can get additional icons to be used for some of these shortcut folders? If so, where can I locate and get them?
Thank you, missfuffy

Boy back in the day win3.x and I believe win95+98 had a file in c:\windows\system that was named moricons.dll or something really close to it. I also know there are programs out there to create your own icons from pictures/screenshots/website logos but unfortunately I do not know of any off the top of my head. I'll look today for if win2k still has this moricons.dll file, and where it's located if it's still available.

Wincustomize offers icons for "Icon Packager," which is an icon tool. However....you do *not* need Icon Packager to use the icons. :D All you need is WinZip. When you download the icons from this site, you'll notice that the file extension is ".ip" and, when you go to open the file after downloading it, Windows won't recognize the extension, and will ask you what program you want to open the file with. Check "select program from a list" and then choose WinZip to open it with. And right inside will be the icons. ;)
