Machine:
ThinkCentre M920x Tiny - New
Part No: 10S1002UUS
Configuration Details
● Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-8700 Processor (12M Cache, up to 4.00 GHz)
● Operating System: Windows 10 Professional 64 - English
● Memory: 16GB DDR4 2666Mhz SoDIMM Memory
The hard drive is a 250 GB SSD drive, but the documentation says it's a SATA drive.
New SSD
Crucial P5 Plus 1000GB PCIe M.2 2280SS SSD

Two questions:
1) Is there a way to add the additional SSD, keep the old SSD in the machine, and have the machine address the 1.25 TB of total memory as if it were on one drive?
2) The OS is on the existing 250GB SSD. Can it stay there and map the OS out to the RAM? Or do I need to image the current installation (with, say, Acronis) and then restore the image to the new, 1 TB SSD?

Thanks for your help,
Scott
