I have two sticks of 128 Rambus ram in my computer -- total 256. I have an opportunity to acquire two sticks of 256 Rambus ram -- total 512. I have two empty slots to accommodate. My question: While the two sticks of 256 are exactly the same type ram as the two sticks of 128 that I already have, can I add these two 256 sticks to what I already have, thereby giving me a total of 768 of the same Rambus ram with impunity?

    Thanks,
    Red Boy

What's the maximum ram for your motherboard?

Thanks, on the basis of my service tag it says: Maximum Memory 2048 MB. So, am I to understand that I can mix the 128s with the 256s without any problem?
