I have been given a second hand computer. Everything going well apart from trying to set up an additional user account. My account is working but when I set up the additional account either as a second Computer Administrator or as a limited account - neither works. As soon as I click on the additional account it goes to the first screen with all the icons on but when I try to click on an icon (internet explorer etc) the screen freezes. An error comes up which says RUNDLL. I have to close the computer down to get out of that screen. I am using Window XP
Thank you for your response.
You asked me to list recent errors. When I `Run` eventvwr.msc it comes up with a list Application/Security/System do you want me to list errors in all three or just one in particular?
Copy ANd Paste the Errors from .. Application and System
When YOu Double Click on a Error .. a Window Will Pop-up .. On the Right Side there will be .. '2 Notepad Icons when over the other' .. Use it to Copy and then Paste
Have just tried to use the User Account again and an error window popped up which said:
Error Loading C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\NvCpl.dll One or more arguments are invalid.
Do I still have to list errors or does this give you the answer?
Thanks
Have managed to copy error as requested.

Since starting the msconfig when I start up now I get a SYSTEM CONFIGURATION UTILITY window appearing telling me to click the `normal start up` tab and undo whatever changes I have made. Should I do this?
