For some reason I get pop-up messages saying I require admin rights when I try to do something such as changing settings in msconfig or running a program as admin. The thing; I am an admin. There's only one account on the computer.

Is this your personal computer or work computer?
Did you buy the computer new or used?
How long have you had this problem?
Do you have security software installed to protect against viruses and malware? If so, have you run a full scan recently?
