    I had Flash installed. I down loaded XP up grades from Microsoft. Now I do not have Adobe Flash and can not down load it. the last pop up note from windows says it will nto allow this active X program to install because is is bad. I now can nto remember what exactly it says. has anyone had this problem and or know a fix.

    I haven't heard of this issue so I don't know what, if any, connection there may be with Windows updates.

    One thing you could try is to uninstall and reinstall flash again. There is a special uninstaller that you should use, and you can get it here;

    Uninstaller; http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=1 (read the instructions, IE users may need to reboot after running it)

    Flash plugin for IE; http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/static/styx/English.html (read the installation instructions, you may need to be online for the install to complete properly)

    If you have any other browsers installed, such as Firefox, Opera, Netscape etc., you will also need the new plugin for them, because the uninstaller will have removed it;

    Flash plugin for non Active X browsers; http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

    It often does the trick, but not always!

    You can mark this 'Solved' using the Thread Tools option in your first post (I think!).
