When I play certain games like zynga poker, and other facebook games it freezes my browzer(chrome) If I'm using firefox or ie it shuts the computer off. It also does that when my kids are playing there flash games(from reflexive arcade). i'm using windowsXP sp3. have tried searching for virus's and malware, but computers clean. any ideas?

I'm sure that somebody would help if anyone that read your post was having your problem. I haven't had problems but, since I don't play online games (I'm old and slow, like my dialup connection), that's not surprising,

It's possible that the onset of your problem and the Flash upgrade are a coincidence but you could try working your way through the Adobe Troubleshooter in case it helps; http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html

[Note that the troubleshooter recommends using the Adobe uninstaller and that will remove the Flash plugin from every browser you have, so you will have to reinstall both the IE Active X one and the non Active X one for Firefox].

I'm not qualified to interpret HJT logs. Someone else may be able to help, although you'd probably have to post a scan from the latest HJT version, which is 2.0.4.

I seem to remember reading that some toolbars can incorporate popup blockers which may interfere with Flash content, as can some other so called 'security' programs. Have you tried playing your games in Safe Mode?

I Would recommend uninstalling and re-installing adobe flash. based on your HiJackThis Log, you don't appear to have any obvious malware infections, although you do have some unnecessary startup files that could stand to get cleaned up. The easiest way to do that would be to download CCleaner, then go to Tools>Startup- then clean out the stuff that's not needed for bootup (MSN Toolbar,SunJavaupdates, AGRSMMSG, mswinext. I'm not sure what a few of the items are, nothing i've come across before, but remove the ones I recommended for faster boot time and possible increased performance.

i've noticed tonight that when i'm playing facebook flash games(zynga poker) that my CPU usage spikes to 100% (chrome browser). thought chrome didn't use that much resource, but it also does it on firefox as well.

I'm having issues for the past 3 days with Zynga games on Facebook (primarily Cafe World and Frontierville) also. They either won't load at all or load and then have to keep retrying but they never load fully or work anymore. The error message I keep getting is "Adobe Flash plugin has crashed". I've uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe, installed all updates, rebooted, etc etc. I'm at my wits end and it's really starting to p*ss me off.
I use Firefox and Windows XP. I don't know anything about the Google chrome, I don't think (or know if )I'm using it.
    Can anyone please help? Thanks!

    Hello All

Well a strange thing happened today, when I started my PC there was an Adobe screen inviting me to update to version 11. Being the suspicious type I ignored this and went to Adobe's website where it appears the latest version is 10.1 ?????

    Regards SillverSurf

So obviously it is adobe's problem and not my computer's. Cause firefox just did a similar update. I just wish these companies would admit their flaws and not blame it on everyone else's computer.
