    Hello All,
I am having problems with FireFox browser crashing...only happens when I try to watch or download video....browser freezes...Skype no longer works...Adobe crashes.[for example Youtube freezes]. No error message...just FF says... not responding...on youtube...says adobe flash has crashed.

Thought it was Flash or Shockwave Flash...reinstalled both...used uninstaller.

    Using Windows 7...64 bit... new computer...Hp G72-227WM.

Everything was working ok for a couple of months... until several days ago...Leading me to believe it was some kind of Microsoft update...did a restore...worked for a couple days then crashes...tried system restore again... tried several points... restore does not help. Uninstalled Skype...browser still crashes.

Called HP had no clue...recommended a complete windows uninstall/install.
So, something is causing Flash, Skype, FF to crash...Can it be windows7?

I read in a previous post that someone had the same problem with IE crashing.
Google search says it could be a sound card problem...don't think I have that card. Also seems to be a common problem.

Does anyone have any ideas...don't want to do the uninstall.

If any can help..it would really be appreciated. Thanks

would not go for a full reinstall, seams drastic

start type firefox look for firefox safe mode open that have a internet browse at several sites if ok re open firefox in normal mode go to tools add ons first click find updates then look through add ons and disable say the top 1 or top 2 browse again if ok reenable and go through it again

try google chrome install it do not make default keep it clean as in no add ons or anything use that on sites you having issue with if ok then its firefox if not ok then re post after doing all above

There appears to be some kind of registry problem or conflict with Windows 7... Not sure. When I use a Reginout there appear to be several hundred problems listed. Which is interesting because the computer is 6 months old. Don't think it is a good Idea to delete all these errors. Google search does not show any conflicts that I have installed on computer. I wonder if Hijack this can help. Any ideas?
