I am trying to touch up a photo of my son using photodeluxe HE 3.0 which came with my scanner.

On opening the programme I get...

‘either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfil the messaging request. Please run microsoft outlook and set it as the default mail client’.

I am not sure I want to do this…do I have to? Also..

I can edit the photo, but on trying to print I get
‘Pd3 has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL
PD3 will now close ….. try restarting your computer’

    or

Pd3 has caused an error in PD3.EXE.
    Pd3 will now close.
    Try restarting….'
    The programme then closes down.

    Any suggestions?
    Many thanks
    Mark Blackmore, UK

If you're using Outlook Express for email, first try setting it as your default email client:

Close OE, click Start/Run and enter this command line, complete with quotes, spaces and the /reg switch:

    "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg

Of course change the path if you installed OE elsewhere.

    Good luck,

If you can print normally in other programs, I would just uninstall and then reinstall Photoshop Deluxe to try to solve the print problem.
