    Hi

When trying to download pdf files from the internet, I get an error message refering to adobepdf.dll. I downloaded adobepdf.dll from the intenet and installed it, but still get the error message.

When I try to connect to www.adobe.com to download adobe reader 8 (in order to solve the problem), I am unable to connect to the website (get an error message stating that IE or Firefox is unable to connect to the site).

I am running a laptop on Windows XP, and use IE and Firefox for internet. I have Adobe reader 7. installed.

    Thanks
    Landrover

Try un-installing the adobe reader and then reboot and re download and install and after another reboot try your download again.

I don't get it. My Adobe 7 updated itself to 8 automatically and it works fine.

    Hi again

    Probelm solved.
I uninstalled Adobe Reader 7, and rebooted, as suggested. I could then connect to Adobe website, where I downloaded Adober Reader 8. All seems to work fine now.

I also don't get it, but it worked!

    Thanks
