I use windows 98 and more and more when signing in some type of ads come on in the middle of the screen. Until you click " No Thanks" you cannot proceed. How can i permanently arrange that these ads do not even pop on the screen?

If you have to click on " No Thanks" you need to get an ISP other than AOL.

Hi Sun,and welcome to TSG.Alot of these ads are caused by spyware componnets that pop ads for you to go to.Lets have alook at your startup programs to see if you have any spyware on your computer.Go to Start>Run>type in Msinfo32 Click ok.Click on the + sign next to software environment>click on startup programs>click edit>select all>edit, copy and paste the page back here
