I recently upgraded my laptop from win98 to 2000. I inherited the PC from a colleague. The pcmcia NIC drivers are gone (Doh!). The NIC is from Microcomputer Associates, and the FCC is KA2FEPC65001. I have been to several driver sites, including drivers.com and windrivers, as well as visiting M.R's website, but can't find a 'working' driver.
I,ve also tried searching the win98 CD for the drivers. I don't have a modem, so can't load any software to help search for the drivers or manufacturers ID. What did you do when this happened?

you can find a new pcmcia card fairly cheap. it might be better to just get a new one.

if the company that makes the card is out of business there might not be a windows 2000 driver available.
