Hi I'm a total newbie to the world of technology and I'm about to spend some money on a laptop!
I'm a music production guy and I am looking to get something for that purpose only.
My current knowledge of CPU , RAM , GPU is really limited.. So i all i look for the how high the numbers are.
Ex. I7 > I5 or 16gb ram > 8gb ram
3.1 ghz > 2.9hz
you get the drift...
really new, hoping you guys can shed some light on to this a 15 year old kid with no experience whatsoever.
Also feel free to recommend other brands!! :)

My budget is around 2.5k (SGD) = 1.84k (USD)

Here are some options :

1. First option would be brand new from the apple store...
https://www.apple.com/sg/macbook-pro/specs/
2. Demo set from an apple store.. (I like the i7 core and ram, but it has only 256gb)

3. Used and refurbished. I think has great specs(correct me if im wrong)

These are my current options and I have no idea why option 2, 3 seem like a better idea than option 1 as i would get better ram, processor and storage for cheaper..
honestly I don't have the slightest clue what i am doing so i would appreciate if you guys could give me some good advise! thank you in advance!

Thank you!
Looking for a MacBook pro
Personally, I would look at a new MAC simply because you would get the option of getting Apple Care. Refurbished usually will come with a 1 year warranty. In all fairness, all new Apple computers come with a warranty, check the seller to verify.

The only other thing I would say is when you get a refurnished computer, you don't know what you are getting. It could last for 6 months or 20 years.
