I'm looking to start a small computer business with a friend and we are struggling to provide customers with an option for affordable software such as operating systems and office suite programs (less than 150 for an OS and 320 for a decent office suite program). I would like to know if anyone knows of any reputable websites or methods for acquiring LEGAL software at or near wholesale price. Thanks a lot for any suggestions.

I agree with etaf, take a look at Open Office, and it`s free. It also has a forum for questions, and a pretty good help file built into the suite itself.

Sorry I forgot to mention that the currency is USD. Thanks for the suggestions thus far. I'll look into that program. How about an operating system. (Microsoft XP would definitely be preferred.) Also is that program compatible with Microsoft Office? Many customers I deal with would need to interact with users using MS office.
