I write a weekly science fiction blog: http://news-scifi.blogspot.com/ and quite often I embed YouTube videos on it, including some that are just plain old sound files that put together as a video to play audio on my blog. For the audio-only videos I usually embed the small 200 x 150 player, but right after it's through playing or with any of my other embedded YouTube videos, it will show a still of a video that's in the small collection of AVI videos that I have uploaded.

For example today when I was checking the current blog I'm working on, it played what I wanted in the small embedded play, then a still shot of Sgt Carter of Gomer Pyle showed (I uploaded a short clip of an episode awhile back), but it makes it look ridiculous. I would prefer that after my video gets played on my blog that everything just went to black, but I have a feeling that's not possible...or not?

On a side note, if anyone has a proven way of getting MP3 files to play back on Blogger, I'd like to know. I've tried everything and nothing works, which is why I use my little borderline amateurish still YouTube video with just sound on it...For now

    Thanks ahead of time
