Merry Christmas peeps...

I wanna buy a new graphics card for my pc....But I dont know which one to get agp or pci...I have taken the side off computer and had a look inside. I have 3/4 white slots(free ones) and 1 brown slot(which my old graphics card which the monitor cable is connected to) is slotted in to..

Do I need AGP or PCI?

that sure does sound like you have 3\4 PCI slots and 1 AGP slot that your currant video card is in now.

What its sounds like you are describing is an AGP slot. Before you buy a new card you need to check the mobo manual and see if the AGP slot supports a 2x, 4x or 8x card.

You're Welcome. Your processor is 733mHZ. so make sure the card you buy doesn't require a faster processor.

well its 1.4ghz..dual processers...two of them...
It's not 1.4 Ghz...

...it's dual 733's. There's a difference.

Don't drop a lot of money on that rig, it's not a gaming monster.

A simple Radeon 9250 (AGP or PCI) will suffice.
