I just got my internet working again today, after getting rid of a virus going around my campus, and now I'm having problems with AIM. It's constantly disconnecting and then reconnecting...and sometimes it will say "You are attempting to sign on again too soon. Please try again later." with my main screen name, even if I wait awhile. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Hi yesterday,

Could you please run a new HJT! log, check to fix the following, all browser windows, and click Fix

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {000000DA-0786-4633-87C6-1AA7A4429EF1} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\emesx.dll

    O2 - BHO: myBar BHO - {0494D0D1-F8E0-41ad-92A3-14154ECE70AC} - C:\Program Files\MyWay\myBar\2.bin\MYBAR.DLL

    O3 - Toolbar: &SearchBar - {0494D0D9-F8E0-41ad-92A3-14154ECE70AC} - C:\Program Files\MyWay\myBar\2.bin\MYBAR.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

Then if you could reboot and download Spybot - Search & Destroy, from www.tomcoyote.org/spybot : if you haven't already got the program.

Now press Settings, and Settings again.
Go to the Webupdate section, and check "Display also available beta versions".

Now press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.

Next, close all Internet Explorer windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove all it finds marked RED.

Then just post a new log, just for a final once over.

    Cheers

    Liam
