Hi, Sure we can. The AIM profile bugs have been around for some time> new ones come out all the time.
IF the link appears in YOUR AIM Profile> simply remove the profile by editing it out... if you clicked on a bad link, you have other work to do.

Very bad idea to click on people's profile links, as they may not even know, that they are sending a link> it is the infection they have that puts them up in the case of BAD links.
You just have to learn how to keep an eye open for these BAD types of links in AIM....

Here are some pages and removal instructions.
Please, read both before doing anything....
    http://www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/7707.html

    http://www.jayloden.com/PhxFix.htm

Down the page, is a Fix for these bugs> just below where it says "Removal Tool Download"

You should also do this - no one should be without these:

    Download both programs here:

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html

Just the SpyBot Search and Destroy program

and the AdAware SE personal edition, program:
Note that each must be updated online, even tho you are just installing, and they update as much as antivirus program does, these days, AAW somewhat more than SpyBot.

Install, update and run each program, and let them remove all they find. Both programs save backups.

We often find that people who have something like this have a ton more malware, would you consider posting a log with HijackThis? It is a tool we use all the time, very handy, but something that must be used with good advice.

I can post the download and instructions for you if you like. AdAware and SpyBot etc can not deal with all malwares> Hijackthis allows us to spot a lot of things so I would strongly advise you to post a log.
