My computer is networked to another computer, via a cable modem. Whenever my computer goes on Standby, it disconnects AOL Instant Messenger, and reconnects as soon as I activate windows back up again. I have windows on a password, so whenever it goes on standby a password must be entered for it to returns to windows. I searched through AIM prefences and found no settings, to disconnect AIM when the computer goes on standby. Anyone have any suggestions?

As the program can't respond to the AIM servers while your computer is in standby, I can't imagine there's any way for that to be possible... just have to leave your computer on!
