I recently tried to upload the most recent version of AIM on my computer. After I restarted the computer to continue the installation, the AIM service said the "AIM service cannot be reached". I am connected to the internet explorer just fine, and I can go on AOL, but my AIM continues not to work. I've tried everything from uninstalling to reinstalling AIM, uninstalling and installing my network drivers. I have also tried to do the automatic configure option on the AIM setup, and it says that the configuration has failed. AIM is my connection to the outside world, because I'm at college, and everyone uses AIM... please help! i'm in desperate need to go on AIM!
if you have any tips you can reply or send me an email at [email protected]

I've discovered that sometimes when that happens, if you reboot, it helps. Try that...

I'm not saying it will fix it but sometimes it's the *kick in the pant's* AIM needs. It's like it FORGOT how to connect and rebooting reminds. Liz

Rebooting didn't help, thanks though. Anyone else have any good ideas! I'm in the dark here... I've almost lost all hope.
