Hey guys

heres the problem , ive been using my alfa network awus036h for a while now with no problems. I would receive various dmax signals arounds my house and use them for the internet. Now from one day to another my router does not pick up any of those signals. I use the program from alfa and everytime i hit refresh to see the networks available none show up. I dont know what gives, now the wifi on my laptop does pick up these networks but obviously are to far to be any good with the wifi card of my laptop so at least i do no they exist still, anybody have any ideas why they wouldnt be showing up anymore? Some type of setting?reset? Any help would be great thanks

Hi Terry

Well basically in my house i dont have internet , im using the WIFI signals i receive from using the Alfa Network usb adapter. Normally the signals i receive are from routers from DMAX which i think the brand is Thompson, some of them are open so i just get in them. But thats the thing yesterday i turned on the Alfa and i couldnt find any of the signals i normally do. NOTHING. But when i use the wireless card of my laptop which is less powerful it shows the DMAX connecctions i am talking about , but of course i cant connect to them using my laptop since they are so far away thats why i use the ALfa.

Thanks

Please review the Rules, to which you agree when registering. Of immediate interest is ...

WiFi "Piggybacking" / "Wardriving" - We do not support the act of using someone else's Internet without permission. Also, please note that almost every ISP prohibits sharing your Internet connection with another home, and we will not assist you in breaking their rules.
Closing.
