Alienware 17 r1 external graphics card application.

    Hello. My problem is as follows.
    I have an Oculus rift and my laptop is not working for it. I believe it is a problem with the graphics card because I must plug the headset directly into the graphics card and my HDMI is not a direct port for that. I may be entirely wrong but I need help. Please comment what you think I should do and any information you need to help with this.

    Thank you. Tears have been shed over this problem and I am just a kid without the right knowledge to figure it out

    Hello LumberFox,

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you are correct in that the problem lays with the GPU, your notebook has a GTX 880M and OR only supported from the GTX 980 and above, see info here and here
