    Hi,
I suspect somebody (not me) has cleared the program list in the start menu.
That means that going start> all programs displays nothing.
Which seems fair as the start menu folder in windows is empty.
I can't use system restore as I've had to recover the computer from a bad spyware attack and had to turn it off.
How the heck do I get the start menu back to what it was, without carefully rebuilding the damn thing manually ?
I've tried the windows help files but haven't found the right question to ask it.
    Hope you can help
    Matt

    Try this:
    Start> Run> type: regsvr32 /i shell32.dll then OK.
Restart computer and see if that helps.
