When I first got my HP Pavilion desktop with Windows XP about 3 years ago, it had 512 MB RAM. At the time, someone recommended that I allocate part of the RAM to video because the system was sharing RAM with the video and I was told that I didn't want to be short. I have since upgraded to 1 GB RAM and would like to unallocate the RAM dedicated to video. I don't recall the procedure I used. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it Some places show that I have 960 MB Ram and others show that I have a full Gig.
