    hello all,

about to buy an xfx 7600GT (AGP) for my computer but wondering if its a good "fit" if you get me.......
    my specs are as follows:
    AMD Athlon XP (2600+)
    2gb ddr ram(PC3200)
    lots of hard disk
    on-board nvidia geforce4 (64mb)

am i going overboard getting this card? if so what would be better? im looking to use it for games and movies but im just casual about both.
any advice would be great, i need to learn these things!

Imo I would not waste that amount of money on that pc I would rather put the money to a better upgraded pc, as I said that's just my opinion
That said if you feel you need and want to upgrade the gpu, than hey go for it.
I give it six months and you will probably want a faster machine
