When trying to run a Symntex patch I found my System Restore has been disabled and has used all the disk space available. I have Windows ME. I went to Mi crosoft Help and have gone through all their suggestions ...deleted all unusued prorams, temporary files, scanned my disk, etc. At their sugggestion I tried to take it back to an earlier restore point (April of 2002) the first restore point available and it says I don't have enough space to restore the system. When checking on System Properties...file system..troubleshooting...the disable System Restore box is checked and I cannot get it to uncheck. Also the pointer where it tells how much disk space is left is at the Maximum. Should I use my system restore disk...I have never used it...I know very little about computers and have had several people working on it...but I need help.

My recommendation, while not easy, is to:
    1) Get Windows XP
    2) Get a larger hard drive if you are under 10gb

Move that back to the left kinda towards the middle and then see what happens and if you can restore.
