    Hello,
I'm brand new here but AMD support is closed and I just bought a new Ryzen 5 3600.

However, my bios is from July, 2017.

    Current:

    Ryzen 3 1200

    AMD B350 chipset - G11DF
    Version 0901 released 7/2017

    Other stuff is kinda irrelevant.

The issue: I installed this exe file
    B350 Drivers & Support | AMD
    https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/b350

Then I ran the file, it extracted the drivers. Then an AMD application opened and installed them.
I found the files in the C: AMD directory and copy and pasted them onto a flash drive, pretty straight foward.

So, opened the bios, then to ezflash, then into the flash drives directory.

The only file types I can see on EZ flash are all directories, I cannot find any file that will allow me too flash my bios, in the AMD directory.

Am I looking in the wrong place?
Is my bios so old that I wont be able to download new drivers for it?

Looking for a God tier guru to help me get this stout CPU working.

I dont believe my bios is the same. That's a guide for EZflash 3, and I believe I'm stuck with the original.
    Thanks for the link

AMD does not write bios files. A bios update must come from the motherboard or system mfg.
Next that is a built system and as such, may or may not support a newer processor. In this case, I would REALLY doubt there is going to be a bios update to support 3xxx processors. The only one who can give you a definitive answer on this is asus.
Since the latest bios is dated exactly 1yr ago [and the 3xxx series was just released] there is currently no update that will allow you to run that processor.
