    Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.4
    OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
    Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250u Processor, AMD64 Family 16 Model 6 Stepping 2
    Processor Count: 2
    RAM: 3835 Mb
    Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200, 256 Mb
    Hard Drives: C: 921 GB (827 GB Free);
    Motherboard: Dell Inc., 0DPRF9
    Antivirus: Avast Antivirus, Enabled and Update

    I ran a Dell system check yesterday - all fine except the video driver needs updating. The system check said to download AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470/HD4200. When I tried to download it through the system check it would NOT. So I went to the Dell site and found the driver but it would not download from there either. SO, I went to the AMD site and found the 5470, I think. - can someone look at the following link and tell me if I am on the right track and which one should I download. Thanks.

    You appear to have a Dell Inspiron One 2305 all-in-one desktop.
    Is that correct?
    What's the 7-character "service tag" number on it?

    If you're not having a graphic/display issue, there's no need to update the driver just for the sake of updating it.

    If you struggle with finding the correct driver for AMD Chipsets, you can use their Driver Auto-Detect tool, which will download and install the correct driver for your graphics card/gpu. Grab it here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-131

    Thanks for info. Yep, I did find that tool - didn't know which package to load - 2 were listed so then went back to Dell and it cooperated today. Downloaded, installed and everything seems fine.
