Hey there, first post for me.... though i've been browsing the stellar site for a few days now.

I was looking at some new comps, and just wanted to know the difference between AMD, and P4 processors.

It appears as if P4s are clocked much faster than AMD processors. i.e. P4 2.8Ghz (Running at 2800Mhz) as opposed to somewhere around top of the line AMD XP 3200 which is running at 2200 Mhz

I'm getting my info from CyberPower... Unfortunately i can't get the info for the AMD 64s, because the info on the "CPU" section isn't loading properly...

Just wondering what the opinions are around here on the stronger system, and why the top AMD XPs are so much slower than the top P4s.

    Thanks in advance,

  2. Firah
