Windows XP Pro with McAffee HP Pavilion a 300y

Three times McAffee has indicated a problem with Generic.dx, each in a different application, indicates action was deleted, but the problem obviously persists.

Apparently I'm not the first victim. So I'm trying to do what is necessary to get out of this.

I downloaded and ran hijack this.

So here's the log file. Wish I could say it meant something to me.
