On bootup I'm getting an error message:

    RUNDLL
    Error in NvQtwk
    missing entry: NvCplDaemon

After reading the other post on NIVIDIA I'd like to ask, if NVIDIA ain't really needed anymore can it be removed without creating problems? If so, how can I do this as there ain't no uninstall with it.

I've also tried unchecking this in startup and it worked fine, but it's still on my system.

It's your video driver, and you shouldn't uninstall it...

Just follow up on MTbird's advice in the other thread, and uncheck the line pointing to NvQtwk on Msconfig's Startup tab.
