I was in a head-on collision last October. 55 mph - 0 mph in 7 feet. How many G's is that?

    V initial
    V final
    T time
    D distance
    G 32ft/(sec x sec)

    Help?

    V^2 - Vo^2 = 2*a*d

    55 MPH = 80.6666667 feet per second
    0^2 - 80.67^2 = 2*a*7

Your acceleration was -464.79 feet per second^2

Divide that by G, 32, and you get -14.5 G's.

    That's a lotta force.
