Well ive got an Acer desktop.

Ive been getting the blue screen randomly about once or twice a day, normally a reboot would fix it.

Although it finally just stopped. I tried restoring to factory setting, but about midway through it always crashes with the blue screen.
So now I cant even get to the use log in screen. I bought the repair CD off the Acer website, what a waste of money that was, didnt do anything.

So im pretty much stumped, and all the answers ive found on this website required the computer to atleast make it to the desktop, which I cant.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    /disapointed acer customer.

It is more than likely a hardware failure. Have you attempted booting into Safe Mode?

Alright well I tried taking out one of my RAM sticks to see if that was the problem. Didnt change anything.

But now whenever I try to boot up I don't even get a Blue Screen anymore.

Windows starts loading normally then it says "Preparing computer for first use" then a screen pops up saying "windows encountered an unexpected error or restart, please restart to continue setup" or something along those lines. But then after restarting it just does the exact same thing.
