I am getting a message that says that I have the AntiExe virus. I have new Virus software but can't load it because Windows won't recognize my CD ROM. Is this a side effect of this virus? What would be my first step?

Your best bet would be to use F-prot's DOS disinfector, available here:

    http://www.f-prot.com/f-prot/support/

Be sure to format and create the floppies on an uninfected machine and write protect them before using. You will need two floppies, follow the instructions givien. You can download from one of the manual download sites given.
