I'd like to record calls on my OnePlus 7T. All apps I tried don't work. Anyone knows of a reliable app for this?
I'm based in UK (Berkshire) if that makes a difference.
I wouldn't mind using my PC to record if necessary (by using Your phone or some other app).

Any advice much welcome.

I'm not sure this is something we should be assisting with as the laws vary as to whether or not it's legal. This site is governed by U.S. law so that is what we need to go by. I will discuss this with the other Moderators and Administrators and get back here but in the meantime we cannot provide any assistance until a decision is reached. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

It goes beyond that. Each state has their own specific laws covering recording someone with/without consent. An example is Maryland is a two party consent state where both parties have to know they are being recorded. Linda Tripp got in trouble with this but later the charges were dropped. Virginia the neighboring state is a one party consent state but with nuances. If people are in public, there is an assumption that there is no privacy. But if the recording is done in a setting where there is an assumption of privacy such as at someone's residence, then it would require both parties to consent.

As you can see it gets really confusing really fast and it's something that you'll want a lawyer for your locality to provide guidance as this is something you don't want to mess with.

Yes, I read that about the States not all having the same laws on the matter.

@ams232

Why are you wanting to record telephone calls?

I found that OnePlus has this feature disabled when you put in a SIM from a country where phone call recording is not legal. It seems you can enable this with a hack of some sort
Thanks for your answers.

Since this is something that we don't support due to possiblity legality issues, I'm closing this thread.
