Any diffrence between Internal and External ADSL modems?

    hey, Im looking to buy a ADSL modem, and i was wodering if the Coxent internal modem was any good? Or should i just stick with an external modem (even though they are abit mopre expensive?) thanks

    Welcome to TSG!

    Spend the few bucks more and go with an External DSL modem. Besides having status lights where you can see them without having to look behind the PC, they're alot easier to rebot and troubleshoot!

    This is a no-brainer, go with the external! One day you're likely to want to share the connection between two computers, and the external is much easier to do that with, buy a $40 broadband router and you're set.:)
