I've made some changes to my computer lately including reinstalling windows xp and now I cannot send email. I cannot send using Outlook Express, Thunderbird, or Calypso. I can receive ok.

One exception is that I can send emails using my cable connection using smtp.cox-internet.com. All my other accounts use mail.mydomain.com.

    Thanks,
    Steve M.

I assume you have checked your settings in your e-mail clients? Are you using a software firewall and if so, which one?

Are you getting relaying errors when trying to send?Relaying errors come from trying to send mail through a mailserver that is not on the same network you are connected to.You usually have to authenticate first by checking mail before you can send. Some ISP's will not let you send at all unless you are using their outgoing mailserver. What you should do is change all your accounts to use the smtp.cox-internet.com outgoing mailserver since I assume that is your internet connection provider. It is the simplest solution.
