Any Game Crashes

    HI EVERYONE THIS ONE I KNOW CAN BE FIXED BUT I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW!
    PROBLEM IS I CHANGED FROM WINDOWS 98 TO XP A FEW DAYS AGO AND NOW NONE OF MY GAMES WORK (PC KEEPS CRASHING) EVEN USING FULL SCREEN VISUALS IN WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER IS ENOUGH TO CRASH MY PC I HAVE A 64MB NVIDIA TNT 2 GRAPHICS CARD AND UPDATED MY DRIVER TO BE COMPATABLE WITH XP THE FILE WAS 16Mb BUT ITS STILL THE SAME (I DID NOT UNINSTALL MY PREVIOUS GRAPHICS CARD DRIVERS) SHOULD I OF? IF SO HOW DO I FIX IT NOW THAT I HAVE ALREADY UPDATED THE DRIVER? I STILL HAVE THE XP GRAPHICS DRIVER ON MY PC BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO UNDO WHAT I'VE DONE IF THAT IS WHAT I NEED TO DO OR IS IT SOMETHING DIFFERENT

    1) dont type in all caps....its considered yelling and its somewhat hard to read. also, paragraphs and punctuation are our friends :D

    2) boot into safe mode (tap f8 before windows starts and choose safe mode

    3) right click on "my computer" select properties, hardware, device manager.

    4) click the plus sign next to "display device", highlight all entries and delete them.

    5) reboot into normal mode.

    6) reinstall drivers.


    if that doesnt work, then we need a little more information.

    1) how much system RAM do you have?

    2) give me an example of one game that is crashing

    3) what is the EXACT (word for word) error message.
