Any viruses blocking my e-mail process?

    I'm having some problems accessing my MS Outlook. At first, the download process would slow to a crawl. I turned off my Norton AntiVirus and Internet Security to see if either was interfering with the process, but there was no difference. Now, I can't seem to connect to the e-mail server at all. I'm wondering if there's a virus that's causing the problem.
