I have a new laptop, but it's come pre-filled with masses of junk, and I just wanna wipe the HDD and install a fresh copy of Windows 7. But I always have 1 problem with wiping the OS. The drivers. How (if possible) can I backup my drivers?

Or you could download the drivers from the laptops manufacturer's website and get the up to date ones with proper installers.

That would be my personal route...

Motherboard and LAN drivers are the most important, after that its easy to hit the one offs and better in the long run.

I did that once, but for some reason a few drivers (such as "CoProcessor") were nowhere to be found. And it left some hardware named "Unknown Device", which is kind of impossible to get the driver for.
