Anyone know what "bit torrent " is??

Is it a website with a discussion forum? I was told there was information discussed there, but all I can find on the net about it is that it's a place to download music. Thanks.

Bit Torrent is just a way to download p2p files.. Don't think its right to talk about it on this forum.

bit torrent is the only program that can handle torrent files, if you ever plan on downloading anything, be it legal or illegal you need bit torrent, since without it half of the content (Legal and illegal) on the internet is unavailable,
