Hi

I'm not sure what I want to do is possible so here's the scenerio

A folder is stored on a shared drive and within that folder is another folder with a unique name (username)

What I want to be able to do is create some code that when the first folder is opened it will only display the folder that has the same name as my username that I have logged onto the computer with.

Is this possible ??

Hi, I'm not a network guy but I think a script that sets user rights on-the-fly in a specific folder based upon the logged in username should do the trick.
Powershell or vbs script.

I would look to using a Group Policy (GPO). Perhaps 'folder redirection' is the topic to study. Thinking you build this path as part of the user profile and\or make the desired settings there. Been a while since I wore a network hat as well.
