I have just got a new computer and am trashimg my old one. I have destroyed the hard drive even though it had gone bad. A friend wants the pair of 1gb ram. Is there any information stored on the RAM from the old computer?

    Thanks...

No, RAM doesn't store information in that matter. It would be safe to give to your friend (assuming the RAM type matches what is compatible with their motherboard).

nope, it's volatile. That's why puppy linux is great OS for getting into frozen rigs.
