I have Win 98 with cable connection. Have tried everything from clearing cach, clearing temp internet files, repairing IE6, clean reinstalls of AOL 7, 8 and 8plus (AOL9 will not install for some reason).

My internet connection is just fine as I can get to web thru explorer...but not through AOL (so I cannot get links, favorites, etc to work).

Tried "webutil7" and I had to overlay Win98 to get computer back running- and it did not fix problem.

From what I see, this is happening to a LOT of people...with any broadband connection, any AOL version, and any Microsoft OS. Something about AOL browser and bring your own broadband connection is NOT working.

SOMEONE out there has to have a solution. Apparently AOL techs do not!

Have not gotten a fix for the AOL connection error on Win 98.

    Questions:

Any way to forward AOL mail to another address?

Any mail program out there that I can get and receive my AOL mail from ( Outlook, OE, and Eudora apparently don't work)?

    HELP!
