I have the Belkin Cable/DSL router to use with AOL Cable Broadband Gold so I can use my laptop wireless.

After trying for weeks to get it to recognise that it has the internet connected, I managed to do it earlier, but it says it does but doesn't seem to.

I asked it to update the firmware and said I had to check the WAN connection. The WAN light and possibly the light where I have connected the computer i.e. the no1 LAN port are supposed to be green lights but they're orange, but still says I'm connected.

Any ideas with how to help? COuld it be that I haven't got a wireless card set up yet?

    Thanks in advance
