My question is this,, Does aol & mcafee slow down pc's? Is aol a decient isp? Been using aol for a long time and like the way things are with it. Any body know a isp that works and looks like aol for around the same price? Thanks

First of all there is nothing that runs like AOL. If you are happy with it then it is the best ISP in the world no matter what anybody says.

Both of them slow down a PC but one other thing there are a lot of things that slow down a Windows PC. The more you install programs the slower the PC gets, but some programs slow the PC down more. In my opinion Mcafee does it too much and is in the same league as Norton which also is a resource Hog.

Actually I really do not like either of AOL or Mcafee but igf I had to choose between them I would take Mcafee, at least I could turn it off.
