When I went to load my AOL, the homepage stayed on for a second and then disappeared. Can't load.

Your really not explaining your issue very well, also a simple re-installation may do the quick fix, have you already tried this ?

So you run the AOL icon, nothing wrong, you can log in & connect ?
you then connect & the homepage loads for a second then goes to a cant load page?
at that point can you do anything with aol ? load another webpage ? check mail ? chat ? etc?
how do you connect to AOL ? cable ? DSL ? phone line ?

your not being very descriptive again, im trying to help... If... I understood you correctly then your problem is not with AOL at all but with your computer's connection to your network... though I may & probably have misunderstood you so sorry if that is the case but you only clearly answered 1 of my questions & its hard to understand what your really trying to explain.

Aol may have become corrupt, it would be easier to simply re install

I have uninstalled and downloaded a new copy of AOL prior to my posting.
Note: This same issue happened a week ago and mysteriously resolved itself after a couple of days.

which version of Aol do you have? I use version 9.0 as I had issues with later versions, I didn't like their interface either and my version is more stable.
