Hi
I called Aopen and a tech support guy from that company told me that with a Aopen 56K FM56.PM modem http://www.aopen.com/products/modem/fm56pm.htm and a cheap local dial up connection, I can use my regular phone to make long distance phone calls through the internet.
So I could have my high speed cable connection to use the Internet and a cheap local 56k connection to make long distance phone calls that at the end will be cheaper than paying for my big long distance phone bill. I don't really know if what he said is possible.
Can use my regular phone to make long distance phone calls with this Aopen modem 56K FM56.PM http://www.aopen.com/products/modem/fm56pm.htm through the internet, using a dial up connection?
Thanks
Alex
