This is the error I get on files after trying to archive it to a flash drive. Initially it seems to be all right but after only a small part of the flash is filled this error starts and continues no matter how I transfer files. I have tried zipping and have used different brands and sizes of flash drives all seem to have this problem. Large files seem the most prone to failure. I have reformatted the drives to both ntfs and exfat. Most of the files I want to archive are between . 9 and 2 Gig. Thanks for any help you can provide.

What are you using to copy the files? That error implies playing a file, not copying one ...

I have used 3 different file transfer utilities explorer, roadkills unstopable, and tera copy. I also tried to zip them with several different zip utilities

By explorer, do you mean Windows File Explorer? The files won't simply copy with a drag and drop?

How are you trying to play them?

Did you try to play the file while inside the zip folder? It definitely won't play that way.

Have tried all ways to copy files including drag and drop and the three utilities mentioned above. Have tried copied and extracted zip files all fail.
